Part of my practice today is working on counting my downbeats against this 3:5 polymeter. Two rhythms based around the same type notes (sixteenths). Started with keeping consistent quarter notes on the snare and I’m working on keeping that pulse with my voice. Bass drum and snare drum alternate with the 5/16. Still feels heavy and tense but I feel my grid system getting stronger. Hope everyone’s doing good! ✌🏻 @dunnettclassicdrums @vicfirth @istanbulagop
